On January 1, 2008 the Real Estate Foundation began celebrating 20 years of grant making. From 1988-2007 the Foundation approved over $48 million in grants to non-profit organizations in 122 BC communities.

We are pleased that the Foundation is able to support so many worthwhile initiatives and look forward to continuing to work with organizations throughout the province on their real estate and land use related projects.

	Twenty years of grant making warrants something special. The Real Estate Foundation has produced a 20th anniversary video and timeline highlighting a few of the many innovative projects the Foundation has been privileged to support. The video was launched at the British Columbia Real Estate Association's Leadership Conference on May 21, 2008 in Kelowna.
	In partnership with the Real Estate Institute of British Columbia, the Real Estate Foundation published a special winter 2008 issue of Input, the magazine for Real Estate Institute members.
	The Real Estate Foundation has awarded grants in 26 of BC's 29 regional districts. This June 2008 news release details some of the highlights.
	On October 28, 2008 the Foundation celebrated 20 years of grant making at a speaker event and reception. In his final address as Executive Director Tim Pringle commented on the organization's history and its future. Read speech | Event photos
